Class Information
Hello, my name is Mrs Taylor and I am one of the Year 5 teachers. I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday our class is taught by Miss Lewis.
On our class page you will be able to find class news and other important information. We may also share some of the work we have produced, photos and the books we are studying.
Important Information
PE
Every Friday the children will have PE so they should wear their PE kits to school. Please ensure that they are suitably dressed as the weather is rather chilly these days.
Healthy Snacks
Children can bring healthy snacks to eat at play time, you would be surprised how hungry they get by half past 10.
Curriculum
The English book we are studying currently is 'One Snowy Day'
This is a delightful picture book about a boy who gets lost, finds incredible animal friends who help him and eventually finally returns home where his father's views of animals and their value is changed forever.
The illustrations are remarkable and it seems apt to study this at Christmas time. We plan on having a whole corridor display and will post pictures of the work the children create.
Later this week I will post the book on this page so that everyone can enjoy it.
