Our school topic this term is "The Street Beneath My Feet" by Charlotte Guillain.
Please find attached below our project overview for this term.
We have been busy investigating and researching worms. We have been finding new facts, measuring worms, completing observational drawings, labelling worms and creating our own 'Superworm' and 'Superworm' adventure stories based on the Superworm book by Julia Donaldson.

Eira the lamb / Eira yr oen
Dosbarth Llew had a very special visitor to class. We had a wonderful time looking after Miss Wilson's lamb Eira for the day. We had the opportunity to care for Eira and bottle feed her.
Llawer o hwyl! / Lots of fun!
Science Week / Wythnos Gwyddoniaeth
We had a brilliant Science week full of awe, wonder and curiosity. We read the book 'George's Marvellous Medicine' by Roald Dahl and had a go at creating our own magical potions and investigations. We made gummy bears grow, bubbling potions, dancing worms and colours change.

My Dad is a Grizzly Bear by Swapna Haddow
Dosbarth Llew had a special zoom session with the author and illustrator of My Dad is a Grizzly Bear. We thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the book and the author and becoming illustrators for the day by drawing the grizzly bear. We then received a special letter from the book needing our help to find the missing bear. We decided to make missing posters, design a trap and make the bears favourite food. Gwaith ffantastig!

Forest School / Ysgol Goedwig
Every Friday we are lucky enough to spend the afternoon in Forest School. We have had so much fun making smores, working together, climbing trees, building nests, finding minibeasts, jumping in muddy puddles and watching summer blossom.

Weekly enhanced challenges
Every week we have challenges that we can complete independently around the classroom. Some of our favourite challenges this term have been creating cheerio worms, making a home for Eira and making magic potions.
