ALN (Additional Learning Needs)
Here at Deri View, supporting children with additional learning needs is of utmost importance. We will always listen to parents, teachers and other professionals to determine the best type of support for each and every child that needs it. Pupil voice is also very important and we will always aim to establish the views of the child when making any decisions. The way additional learning needs is managed in Wales is changing.
Additional Learning Needs Code
Parents and carers of pupils with ALN will be informed of any changes that relate to their child. Please keep looking at the website and class dojo for letters and new information as it becomes available. This is a staged approach that will be undertaken over a number of years and we will do our best to communicate this information to parents in a clear way as soon as possible.
